An investigation began in reference to a break-in in the area of Claridge Nursery Road, in which approximately $15,000 worth of property was stolen.

As a result of this investigation, 34-year old Eric Alphin was arrested Thursday and charged with Breaking and/or Entering (F), Larceny After Breaking and/or Entering (F), (7) Counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretense, (7) Counts of Possession of Stolen Goods (M), Larceny (M), Injury to Personal Property (M).

Eric Alphin was left under the custody of the Wayne County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
