In honor of Memorial Day, the Wayne County Veterans and Patriot Coalition braved the weather to honor our fallen service members. Volunteers gathered to place American flags on the graves of the fallen service members.
On Monday, the group will host an Observance of the National Moment of Silence. This event will be held at Wayne County Veterans Memorial, 239 E. Walnut Street, Goldsboro at 2:45 PM. A wreath will be placed at the Court House and Honors by American Legion Post 11 Honor Guard.
