Mary Lou Walker Abbott, 88, of Princeton, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 28, 2023.  Ms. Abbott was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on November 7, 1934, to the late Walter Edmond Walker and Antonia Dora Kremer Walker.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas LeRoy Abbott.

She is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Abbott Bixler (Garvin); sons, Walter William Abbott (Wanda) and Thomas Lee Abbott (Pam);  grandchildren, Jeremy (Shannon) Abbott, Natasha (Luke) Wrubel, Laura (Daniel) Weekly, Garvin S. Bixler Jr., Rebecca “Becky” Abbott Neimeyer (Brian Forsel), Elizabeth “Beth” Abbott (Eric Bridge), Rachel (Nick) Berken, Daniel Abbott, Jason Horsman (Tammy Schmoll), Justin Horsman (Silke Skindelien) and 24 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Nebraska City, Nebraska.  More specific details will be announced at a later date.
