Wayne County Post 11 and Louisburg Post 105 both were raining points in the rain but Post 11 got the best of Louisburg. Even though it was raining it didn’t stop both teams from putting on a great performance for everyone there to see. Post 11 came away with the big win 14-6.
Because both sides were having problems playing defense due to the rain pouring down on both players and the spectators, both teams scored easily in the first three innings. Post 11 got off to a 7-4 advantage.
When the rain finally stopped falling in the bottom of the fifth inning, Post 11 stepped up their game and quickly built a 10-4 lead thanks to two steals by Cameron Aycock and Braeden Collins and an RBI by Landon Sutton.
Louisburg gets a RBI that gets two runs in to answer back to make it 10-6 but in the bottom of the 6th Post 11 just ran away with the lead by getting three more steals to make it a 13-6 game and to finish it off Colin Woolard hits an RBI to make it 14-6.
