Tracey Lee Dail, 51, of the Grantham Community died Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Wayne UNC Healthcare in Goldsboro. He was born in Wayne County to William Ishman Dail and the late Katherine Sutton Allen on August 26, 1971.

Tracey worked for many years as a heavy equipment and farm equipment operator. He enjoyed going to the beach and fishing as well as working on cars and participating in the derby. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Mike Young.

The family will gather to remember Tracey on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Seymour Funeral Home.

Tracey is survived by his son, Joseph Lee Dail, and wife, Delaney, grandson Corbin Dail and was anticipating the birth of his granddaughter Jewellyn in July; father, William Dail and wife, Carolyn; brothers, Anthony Dail and girlfriend Jennie Sharpe and David Allen and wife, Ashley; nieces and nephews, Kasey Dail, Wesley Dail and wife, Brooke, Kelly Dail, Mallory Reed, and Weston Allen. He is also survived by special friends, Sarah Robben and Trevor Edwards.
