Wayne County Post 11 continues its journey through the postseason on Wednesday night when it hosts Fuquay-Varina at 7 p.m. in game one of the Area I West division finals.
Post 11 (28-3) defeated Durham Post 416 10-0 on July 6 in game one of the Area I West division semifinals. Durham forfeited the remainder of the series. Fuquay-Varina defeated Louisburg in the other Area I West semifinal series.
Wayne County has won its last 13 games and hasn’t lost since June 15.
