Wayne County Post 11 dropped game one of the Area I West finals to Fuquay-Varina Post 116 7-4 on Wednesday evening.
The loss was Post 11’s first since falling to Randolph County Post 45 6-4 on June 15. Wayne County had won its last 13 contests before Wednesday night.
The Area I West finals continue tonight at 7 as Wayne County visits Fuquay-Varina.
