July 20, 2023, 67, Mount Olive —

Mr. William Herbert Lorom, a resident of the Beautancus area, Mount Olive, passed away Thursday morning, July 20, 2023.  He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Lorom was a native of Houlton, Maine.  He had been a long-time self-employed truck driver.

He leaves behind two sons, Eric Lorom and fiancee, Carol Brock, of the Beautancus area, and William Jonathan Lorom of Houlton, Maine; a daughter, Blanche Russell and husband, Patrick, of Houlton, Maine; three brothers, Rodney Lorom and wife Eula, Craig Lorom and wife, Toni, and Bob Lorom; three sisters, Judy Hilton and husband, Peter, Sandra Wiggins, and Linda Lorom; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Lorom and Minnie Craig Lorom; a sister, Tina Lorom; and a brother, Cecil Lorom, Jr.

The family will be remembering their loved one in a private way; therefore, a formal service is not planned.
