The County of Wayne has announced the following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of Labor Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4.  Offices will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 5 for normal business hours.

• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 4. Library branches will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 5, for normal business hours.

• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 4. The Senior Center will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 5, for normal business hours.

• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday, Sept. 4. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 5, for normal business hours.

• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday, Sept. 2, and Monday, Sept. 4. The shelter will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 6, for normal visiting hours.
