Mrs. Dianne Bodiford Wrampe, 76, resident of Harrells, N.C., passed away Wednesday morning, September 6, 2023, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Mrs. Wrampe was born in Robeson County and was one of eight children born to Robert Edward Bodiford and Virginia Stone Bodiford.  She had been a farmer’s wife, working alongside her husband in swine production at Tri-Co Farms, and later at their own swine operation, D & D Swine.  Later, she became employed as a health care technician at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton in its emergency care department.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 1068 Rackley Road, Clinton, N.C. with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church.  Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan.    The service will conclude at Garland Cemetery with committal rites and burial.    Family and friends are also welcome to call at the Wrampe residence.

Mrs. Wrampe is survived by her husband of 52 years, Darrell L. Wrampe, of the home; three children and their spouses, Angela Wrampe Lee and John “Jakie” Lee of Garland, Travis Edward Wrampe and Melanie Wrampe of Garland, and Melinda Wrampe McClenny and John McClenny of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Lee Kornegay and husband, Justin, of Clinton, Jake Lee, Ayden Wrampe, and Isabella Wrampe, all of Garland, and Mr. Kase McClenny, Alayna McClenny, and Brody McClenny, all of Mount Olive; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Rose Bodiford of Charleston, SC, Jerry and Helen Bodiford of Lumberton, and Ronnie Bodiford, of Lumberton; two other sisters-in-law,  Lou Bodiford of Lumberton, and Barbara Bodiford of Elizabethtown; an honorary son, Robert Fad “Charles” Newkirk and wife, Veronica, of Garland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Bodiford, Hubert and Shelby Bodiford, Gene Bodiford, and Melvin Bodiford.
