Linda Alice Blevins Carver, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Sutton’s Rest Home. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on February 13, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Esther Elizabeth Sink Blevins.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Luther Carver.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Carver Thomas (Troy); son, Aaron Michael Carver, Sr. (Lori); grandchildren, Lauren Carver (Robert), Garrett Thomas (Kayla), Aaron Michael Carver, Jr. (Amanda), and Emily Kerschner (Corey); great-grandchildren, Brody Kerschner, Zoey Baker, Rosa Lee Baker, Kami Thomas, Lynn Johnson, and Westley Kerschner; siblings, Paul Blevins (Debbie), Steven Blevins (Patty), and Elizabeth Upton (Billy Wayne); and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Linda was a dedicated and faithful member of the Community Baptist Church in La Grange. She used her God-given musical talent serving as the church pianist for many years.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Dean Hightower officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
