Every week, Your Seymour Salute highlights an airman serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.
Senior Airman Josue Lopez Payan currently serves as Supervisor, Cargo Inbound and Receiving Section, and plays an instrumental role in the 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron’s Traffic Management team.
Lopez Payan manages a dedicated team, ensuring the timely processing and delivery of crucial equipment, weapons, and aircraft assets throughout Seymour Johnson AFB. Lopez Payan’s unwavering commitment was evident when he and his team swiftly cleared a significant backlog caused by the integration of new Boeing aircraft parts now maintained by the USAF.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Lopez Payan is actively involved in the community. He founded a soccer league for the children of the 4th Fighter Wing and Wayne County and passionately coaches one of the teams. Additionally, Lopez Payan is advancing his education in Transportation.
