HBCU alumni, representatives, and prospective students turned out to the HBCU College Fair hosted by the Wayne County HBCU Alliance on Wednesday evening at the W.A. Foster Recreation Center.
The event featured free food, giveaways, assistance with college readiness and financial aid applications, and the opportunity to engage with current HBCU students and graduates.
Among the HBCU institutions on hand were Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina Central University, and Saint Augustine’s University.
