Early Voting in General Election Gets Underway

Early voting for the Nov. 7 general election began on Thursday and continues through Nov. 4.

Anyone who lives within the Goldsboro city limits and wishes to vote early may do so at the Wayne County Public Library at 1001 E. Ash St.

Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Citizens can also vote from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. and Saturday, Oct. 28., and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. Sunday voting will be available from 1 p.m. to 4 on Oct. 29.

On the ballot are races for all five districts of the Goldsboro City Council, as well as the Goldsboro mayoral election between Charles Gaylor and Raymond Smith Jr.
