Wanda Kay Head Smith passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She was born in Wayne County to the late Jimmy Ray Head and Peggy Jean Worrell Head on September 3, 1962.

Wanda is survived by her husband Zeb Franklin Smith; sons, Dylan Smith and Brandon Smith (Madison); grandson, Banks; step-daughter, Shelly Bailey; step-mother, Shirley Head; brother, “Pedrew” Jimmy Head (Lynn); step-brothers, Jamie Howard and Richard Howard (Della); step-sister, Shirley “Bunnie” Jones (Steven); uncles, Norman Buster Head, George Head, Tommy Head and Donnie Head; aunt Shirley Smith; and many loved nieces, nephews and close friends; as well as the families she loved that she served for over 25 years with her cleaning business.
