Contact was made with the victim who reported she was standing outside of her vehicle when a brandished firearm threatened her and her vehicle was immediately stolen. During the investigation, it was determined that the individuals who stole the victim’s vehicle from the Five Points Food Mart did so while operating an unrelated stolen vehicle from another county.

Within a matter of minutes of the initial incident, a second vehicle was stolen out of the same area, was located, and was also left unoccupied. The second stolen vehicle was returned to the registered owner. The victim’s vehicle from the Five Point’s Food Mart was still reported stolen. Through modern technology, the vehicle was located and was being operated in Greensboro, NC approximately two and a half hours after it was taken from the Five Points Food Mart. Law enforcement was notified and a traffic stop was initiated on the stolen vehicle.

The individuals fled from the stolen vehicle but were located and identified by law enforcement in Greensboro, NC.

The individuals, Mock Walee, 18 Greensboro, Nyquavious Holmes 18, Greensboro, Lance Powell 20, Greensboro, and two 16-year-olds, were arrested without incident in Greensboro, NC with the assistance of multiple law-enforcement agencies and were later transported back to Wayne County to face criminal charges.
