Elijah James Crock was born into this world on July 29, 2023. Though his time on Earth was short, the impact he made on his family will last a lifetime. Elijah passed away on October 29, 2023. He was the son of Joshua and Hannah Crock.

From his birth, Elijah was tough. Many nights spent in the NICU did not deter him from wanting to make it home. He fought long and hard and was able to come home to his loving family. Often times he would be seen with a big grin on his face. He would light up any room he was in with his infectious smile. Elijah always gave the best kisses to his family. When it came time for photos, he would not pay it any mind, then once the camera was down, he would give his mischievous grin.

A memorial service to celebrate Elijah’s life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Faith Church with Pastor Christian Powell presiding. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

In addition to his parents, Elijah is survived by his big brothers, Thomas Crock, and Matthew Crock; big sister, Aaliyah Crock; paternal grandparents, John and Linda Crock; paternal great-grandparents, Larry and Lorene Dobbs; and special grandparents, Timothy and Ruth Roth and Tony and Helen Stanley. Elijah is also survived by many aunts and uncles who loved him dearly.

Elijah was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Cindy Angel, and maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Wengel.
