A Rosewood High School school bus was involved in a minor traffic accident on Wednesday morning at the intersection of N.C. Hwy 581 and Rosewood Rd.

Ken Derksen, the Executive Director for Community Engagement and Student and Family Support, for Wayne County Public Schools, confirmed that 13 students were aboard the bus. No students were injured in the accident and the bus was not damaged.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
