November 26, 2023, 86, Selma —

Rudine Saunders Brown, 86, of Selma, passed away at UNC Johnston Health, on November 26, 2023.  She was born on January 19, 1937, to the late Joseph Albert and Betty Eason Saunders.  Mrs. Brown was the widow of Charles Edward Brown Sr. She was also preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy S. Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Church of Faith located at 910 Railroad Street, Selma, NC.

She is survived by a son; Charles Edward Brown Jr.; brother, Joseph Albert Saunders Jr. (Brenda), nephews and nieces; Steven Thompson (Pam), Joseph “JoJo” Saunders III. (Jennifer), Vickie McGranahan (Mike) and Heather Long (Marion), numerous great nephews and great nieces.
