Martha Johnson Smith, 69, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Born in Robeson County on November 1, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Hallie Johnson and Barbara Lovette Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Johnson, and stepson, Brian Smith.

Martha is survived by her husband, Willard Ray Smith; daughter, Amanda Garcia and husband, Omar; son, Michael Moore and wife, Aimee; grandchildren, Isabella Garcia, Christian Moore, Lily Garcia, Sophia Garcia, Lucas Garcia, and Trey Daughtry; step-daughter, Angie Cianfarra and husband, Nick; step-grandson, Justin Cianfarra and wife, Dahlia; step-great-grandson, Declan; step-daughter-in-law, Heather Wolfe Smith and son, Briley; sister Kathryn Crumpler; nieces Katelyn Crumpler and Haley Johnson; nephew, Jason Herndon; great-nephews, Hunter Herndon and Tripp Robarge; sister-in-law, Annie Capps; and brother-in-law, Larry Smith.

For many years, Martha could be seen working at the Furniture Fair. When not at work, Martha loved doing crafts. There was nothing more important to Martha than her family. Her love for them knew no bounds and each moment spent together with them was a memory she cherished forever.

A special time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Seymour Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
