On day two of the Terry Walls Holiday Invitational Basketball Tournament, Goldsboro Cougars Girls 64 picked up the win over James Kenan 35.  Leading Goldsboro Cougars were #25 Des’Myah Croom 18, #26 Aziyah Boyer 17, and #24 Nashiyah Williams 13.  Number 27 Y’Anna Rivers contributed 19 points for James Kenan.  Both teams will compete on day 3 with James Kenan playing at 10 AM for third place.  Goldsboro girls will play for the championship against Wayne Country Day. 

On Day 3, Goldsboro High School’s varsity girls moved to 11-0 after a 49-46 victory over Wayne Country Day to win the Terry Walls Invitational title. The leading scorers for the Cougars were Des’Myah Croom 17, Nashiyah Williams 12, and Aziyah Boyer 11. Des’Myah was named All-Tournament, and All-MVP, and Aziyah Boyer named All-Tournament.
