Wayne County Public Schools will release students three hours early on Tuesday due to the threat of high winds and heavy rains.

Wayne County Public Schools released the following statement on Monday: “Due to the threat of high winds and potential straight line winds that could impact buses on the road, all schools will dismiss 3 hours early, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9. All after-school programs and school-sponsored activities are also canceled for Tuesday.
