Ashley Prince Hair, age 45, passed away peacefully at her home early Friday morning. Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Monroe Prince, Sr. and Nettie Moody Prince. She was a teacher’s assistant at North Harnett Primary School. Ashley loved working with children and had worked in daycare centers. She also worked for several years at JR’s Outlet Center in Smithfield.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Emmaus Baptist Church in Dudley, NC at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bobby Holmes and Rev. Tommy Futrell officiating.
Ashley is survived by her children, Brittany Rogers & husband, Daniel, Sidney Hair, and Cody Austin Parrish; her brother, Butch Prince & wife, Denise; nieces, Crystal O. Cecil & husband, Jeremy and Taylor Potter & husband, Myles; great nieces and nephew, Aubrey, Annaleigh and Easton; Brittany’s mother in law and father in law, Judy & Scott Rogers; special family members who always treated Ashley like their own daughter, Joyce & W.C. Hair; and loved dearly by her many aunts and cousins.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice of Lillington for the wonderful care given to Ashley during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
