Wayne Christian School has announced that it will dismiss early on Tuesday due to the threat of heavy rain and high winds.

Wayne Christian released the following statement, “Due to the threat of inclement weather and high winds that could impact safety on the road, Wayne Christian School and childcare center will operate on a modified schedule on Tuesday. Our highest priority is the safety of our students, especially those who drive.

Grades kindergarten-12 will be on a half-day schedule. Elementary school students will dismiss at 11:40 a.m. and grades 5-12 will dismiss at Noon. Extended care will be available at 4:00 p.m., although we encourage you to pick up your child as early as possible so our afternoon workers can get home safely. Please pack a lunch and afternoon snack for your child if they are going to extended care. Athletic practices and games are canceled.
