The Wayne County Public Library is hosting “Books and Badges” at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., on the fourth Monday of each month in January through April as guest readers from the Goldsboro Police Department visit the library and read pre-selected books to families of all ages.

The first “Books and Badges” event is on Jan. 22.
