Wayne STEM Academy, a free public charter school located in Goldsboro has opened enrollment for its 2024 – 2025 school year. Any North Carolina Kindergarten through 4th Grade student may enroll at Wayne STEM Academy.

Once enrollment closes on April 1st, Wayne STEM will hold its annual lottery to fill its seats. Wayne STEM is the first-of-its-kind school in Eastern North Carolina focusing on an immersive STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) curriculum and learning experience.
