Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday at 2 a.m.
It will start staying light outside much later into the evening. However, the tradeoff is losing an hour of sleep this weekend.
Setting your clocks ahead one hour before bedtime on Saturday night will be helpful.
Also, emergency officials recommend using the beginning and end of Daylight Saving Time as an opportunity to test and replace the batteries in your home’s smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
