The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the North Carolina Department of Labor to present the 2024 Safety Awards from Noon to 1:30 on Apr. 26 at Walnut Creek Country Club.

The NCDOL will recognize industries in Goldsboro, Morrisville, Garner, Kinston, Mt. Olive, Smithfield, Dunn, Dudley, Benson, Fuquay-Varina, and Selma for their outstanding safety achievements in the workplace.

The NC Department of Labor Commissioner will speak on the necessity of safety in the workplace.
