Larry Derlyn Mozingo, 72, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 21, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Born on June 18, 1951, in Wayne County, he was the son of the late John Roberts Mozingo and Dorothy Elizabeth Wiggins Mozingo.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Nichole Mozingo, and husband, Mike Shearin; sons, Matthew Mozingo and wife, Jennifer, Mark Mozingo, and wife, Lindzy; grandchildren, Casey Spaugh and husband, Kaleb, Zoe Shearin, Katelyn Franks, Meredith Mozingo, Mia Mozingo and Madilyn Mozingo; and great-grandson, Lew Spaugh.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Johnson Mozingo.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
