Louise Gould, 80, passed away Wednesday at Rex Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Rudolph C. Ehlers and Ruby Smith Ehlers and was also married to Byron Gould. Mrs. Gould had worked for Weil’s Department Store and was a member of the Goldsboro High School graduating class of 1962. She loved to travel and take care of her cats as well as all animals. She was a past member of the Good Shepperd Lutheran Church and has been attending the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Gould’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 2:00 pm in the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. A committal service will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by her son, Byron “Buddy” Gould of Goldsboro.
