George Thomas McCullen, 55, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his home. Born in Wayne County on October 3, 1968, he is the son of Billy Thomas and Janice Faye Wilson McCullen.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Jenkins; children, Kyle Marshall, Taylor McCullen, and Jacob McCullen. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Sherry W. Daniels.

Thomas was the owner and operator of McCullen Swimming Pool Service. He also worked for many years as a truck driver.

A service to celebrate Thomas’ life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Ham officiating. Interment will follow in the McCullen Family Cemetery on Casey Mill Road in Dudley. The family will receive friends in the hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home, 390 Casey Mill Road, Dudley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
