Shortly after 7 a.m. on Sunday firefighters from Indian Springs along with an EMS unit were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Indian Springs Road and Emmaus Church Road with possible injuries.

As emergency personnel arrived on the scene they found a pickup truck upside down in a ditch. The driver was checked out by EMS personnel and refused transport to the hospital.

Firefighters set up traffic control through the scene while waiting for the North Carolina Highway Patrol to arrive on the scene.
