Goldsboro City Council to Hear From Public on Annual Action Plan

The public is invited to provide input on housing and non-housing needs in the city of Goldsboro for the 2024-25 fiscal year Annual Action Plan during Monday night’s city council meeting at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers at City Hall at 214 N. Center Street.

The purpose of the public hearing is to hear from interested parties who wish to make recommendations for eligible activities for the City of Goldsboro’s 2024-25 Fiscal Year Action Plan. The Annual Action Plan outlines projects that the city will undertake with its annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Act funds from HUD.

Additionally, the City of Goldsboro’s draft of the Annual Action Plan will be made available for public review and written comment through May 5 at 5:00 p.m. Copies are placed at public access sites such as the desk of the City Receptionist and the office of the City Clerk, both at the City Hall Addition, 200 North Center Street, the Wayne County Public Library, 1001 East Ash Street, the Goldsboro Housing Authority, 1729 Edgerton Street, and on the City’s website at goldsboronc.gov.

Accommodations for disabled, non-English speaking or individuals needing interpreter services will be made available upon request.

Individuals who are deaf and hearing-impaired may call 711 to access telecommunications relay services at no cost.
