DUDLEY — Late Saturday afternoon firefighters from Dudley along with two EMS units were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Sleepy Creek Road and Emmaus Church Road.

Firefighters and EMS personnel worked on removing several people from one of the vehicles while others rendered aid to the driver of the other car. 

Three individuals with non-life-threatening injuries were transported for further medical evaluation. Firefighters established traffic control around the scene.

After a short period of time a North Carolina State Trooper arrived on the scene to investigate the accident.
