Wayne Community College’s Cultural Diversity/Global Education Task Force will host an International Festival on campus.
The festival will be held on Apr. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front). It is free and open to the public.
Throughout the day, there will be country posters and displays, a Peruvian pan flute player, a henna artist, live music and dance performances, a presentation on the evolution of Mexican music, and more.
“In keeping with the core values of WCC, the Cultural Diversity/Global Education Task Force would like to honor the diversity of our community through a display and celebration of the vast cultures our students and staff represent,” said Bill Reboli, chair of the task force.
