Every week, Your Seymour Salute highlights an airman serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Staff Sergeant Joseph Violette is a key member of the 4th Comptroller Squadron as a non-commissioned officer in charge of Financial Operations with the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Staff Sergeant Violette was a leader in the reimbursement project for airmen who missed meals during a dining facility emergency repair and has been a proactive problem solver for work orders and a four-month power issue for workstations.

Additionally, Staff Sergeant Violette has continued to show excellence in leading airmen by conducting financial training sessions and mentoring members PCSing in and reintegrating from deployment.
