On May 2, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office patrol division executed a search warrant at 341 Grantham School Road.

Following the service of the search warrant, six firearms were seized. One of the six firearms seized was reported to be stolen out of Dunn.

Maurice Devon James, 54, Goldsboro, was arrested on the scene without incident and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a stolen firearm. James received a $15,000 secured bond.
