Rhonda Kay Wheeler, 57, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro. Rhonda was born in Williamsburg, Virginia to the late Bobby Wheeler, Sr. and Peggy Pate Wheeler on November 10, 1966. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Greg Wheeler and Michael Wheeler, and sister, Denise Walston.

Rhonda was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to help anytime she could and was always there for them. When she loved, she loved with all her heart. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.

To relax, Rhonda found her way to find a good antique, especially tables. This was her happy place. It was even better if she could find something and share the experience with those she loved.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Rhonda’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home of Ashley and Brad Busdieker, 786 Davis Mill Road, Fremont.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Ashley Busdieker and husband, Brad and Alton John Lane; her fiancée, Robbie Goodman; and grandchildren, Kayleigh Busdieker, Kensington Lane, and Jefferson Lane. She is also survived by her brothers, Bobby Wheeler, Jr., Walter Wheeler, and Anthony Wheeler; and sister, Pam Wheeler.
