The City of Goldsboro and the Town of Mount Olive have announced closings for Memorial Day.

City of Goldsboro offices will be closed on May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.

Monday solid waste routes will be serviced on May 29.

The Town of Mount Olive has announced the following closings for Memorial Day:

Town of Mount Olive offices will be closed on May 27 and will re-open at 8 a.m. on May 28.

Trash pick-up will be collected as follows:

Monday’s route will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s route will be collected on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday’s routes will be on a regular schedule.

The Mount Olive recycling center will be open on May 25 from 8 a.m. to Noon and will be closed on May 27. It will re-open on May 29 at 8 a.m.
