Geneva Martin was born February 27, 1947, to the late Willie B. and Laura Faircloth-Martin

She departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Geneva was born in Wayne County and attended the Wayne County Public School System.

Geneva was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, growing her plants, and cooking.

She attended Word Of Truth Christian Fellowship until her health declined.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents Willie B. and Laura Faircloth-Martin, and a son Keith

L. Martin, 8 siblings (4 sisters and 4 brothers).

Geneva leaves to cherish fond and loving memories of 4 children Delmus Martin, Eddie Martin, Connie (John) Raiford, and Ontario (Angela) Martin of Goldsboro, NC. 7 grandchildren Zxavier Taylor of Goldsboro, NC; Colin (Kenicia) Chewett of Fort Mitchell, AL; Ontisha Bryant, Kheyonna Martin of Goldsboro, NC; Ezekiel Martin of Charlotte, NC; Emmanuel Martin, of Denver, CO; Ne’Vejah Martin of Fayetteville, NC 4 great-grandchildren Kori Roberson, Christina Chewett of Fort Mitchell, AL; Jalin Sawyer, Jhaene’ Bryant of Goldsboro, NC; 1 sister Marvel White Manley of Mt. Olive, NC; a special goddaughter Colinthia Bynum of Goldsboro, NC a dear and devoted friend Lynwood Armwood of Pennsylvania. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her beyond measure.
