Peggy Moye Flowers, 88, died Friday at The Ridge Memory Care in Pikeville. Born in Pitt County on May 9, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Esther Baldree Moye. She was the widow of Joel Flowers.

Peggy was employed with Seegars Fence Company for thirty-seven years. She was a member of Watery Branch FWB Church.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Church Cemetery at Bentonville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Surviving include her stepson, Jeffrey P. Flowers; stepdaughter, Teresa F. Flowers; step-granddaughter, Brina Alexandia Barrett and husband, Austin; brothers, Ray Moye and Rollin Moye and wife, Shirley.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff at The Ridge Memory Care for the excellent care given to Peggy.
