Kim Douglas Willoughby, 59, owner and operator of Jarman’s Seafood in Goldsboro, passed away at his home on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Douglas Willoughby and Margaret Creech Willoughby.

In addition to his parents, Kim was preceded in death by his wife, Sharan Ann Willoughby; and brothers, Roger Willoughby and Greg Willoughby.

Kim is survived by his daughter, Chelsey Willoughby and fiancé, Jeff Buswell; granddaughter, Gracelyn Vandiford; and niece, Ashley Willoughby.

Many people knew Kim from seeing him at Jarman Seafood in Goldsboro. Whenever someone walked in, Kim would always greet them behind the counter with a smile on his face. He lived and breathed for the seafood market and he will be deeply missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Kim’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
