The County of Wayne has announced the following closings in observance of Independence Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed on Thursday. Offices will re-open on Friday for regular business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed on Thursday. Library branches will re-open on Friday for regular business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed on Thursday. The Senior Center will re-open on Friday for regular business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed on Thursday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open on Friday for regular business hours.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed on Thursday. The Animal Shelter will re-open on Friday for regular business hours.
