Gloria Parnell Talton, 91, of Autryville (formerly of Princeton) passed away at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.  She was born on October 30, 1932, to the late Doctor Franklin Parnell and Ellen Davis Parnell.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Junior Talton;  brothers, Thurman Parnell and Buddy Parnell;  sisters Rhoda Iona Bailey, Gladys Irene Summerlin,  Anne Belle Phillips, Mary Belle Shallington, Martha Bass, and Viola Mitchell.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 12 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Friday, June 28, 2024.

She is survived by a son, Lynn Talton (Cindy) of Princeton; and a daughter, Bobbie T. Rhodes (Harold) of Autryville; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

A private burial will be held at the Princeton Cemetery.
