Billy Ray Oliver II, 65, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. A native of Wayne County, Billy was born on June 7, 1959, to the late Billy Ray Oliver and Tillie Tart. 

Growing up on his family’s farm, he loved everything about farming and tractors, valued hard work and tending to the garden. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping, NASCAR races, and spending time with his family. Billy was a beloved member of Oakland Community Church.

Billy is survived by his wife, Robbin Oliver; his son, Brandon Ray Oliver (Nikki); his sisters, Lisa Ingram (Jeff), and Amy Smith (Ricky); his niece, Anna Tucker (Preston); his nephews, Andrew Ingram, Aaron Ingram, and Collyn Smith; his great niece, Tillie Tucker; his mother-in-law, Mig Sullivan and brother-in-law, Paul Sullivan; his dog Lexi, many cats and grand-cats.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clyde Sullivan.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro. A service to honor Billy’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 at Oakland Community Church in Princeton. Interment will conclude at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
