Donna Kendall Hill, 78, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home. Born in New York City on March 15, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Howard John Kendall and Ruth Tonkin Kendall.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lester Hill; son, Kenneth T. Hawthorne; brothers, Raymond S. Kendall, Robert S. Kendall, and Ronald S. Kendall; and one grandchild.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Cathi Eggleston; sons, Keary T. Hawthorne and David C. Hawthorne; sister, Dianne Agnes Kendall; brothers, Russell S. Kendall, Richard S. Kendall, Rene’ S. Kendall, and Roger S. Kendall; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donna retired from the State of North Carolina having worked for many years at Cherry Hospital.
A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends following the service.
