Johnny L. Wall passed away peacefully at UNC Healthcare Wayne on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Johnny was born in Wayne County on March 14, 1966. He worked as an electrician at Wayne Memorial Hospital until health issues resulted in an early retirement. Johnny loved gardening, animals, spending time with his grandson/family, and grilling. 

Johnny is survived by his wife of 20 years, Julie, of the home; daughter Peri Firestone (Jake) of Goldsboro; grandson Bruce; mother Annie Wall of Kenly; stepsons Christopher Hanna of Spring Creek, NV, Matthew Santee of Trenton, Ohio and Tim Santee (Jessica) of Goldsboro; sisters Sandra Wall and Sheliah Wall, brother Lesley Wall, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Kermit Wall and brother Shane Wall.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 pm at Legacy Cremation Care, 1002 Ninth Street, Goldsboro. Please come as you are, as Johnny was a jeans and tee shirt kind of guy. Also bring your memories, as sharing will be encouraged.
