Rosemary Harrell Lutcavage

Rosemary Harrell Lutcavage

July 30, 2024, 60, Goldsboro —

Rosemary Harrell Lutcavage, 60, peacefully departed this life and joyously entered her eternal home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. She was born in Wayne County to the late Jimmy Ballard Harrell and Rose Sutton Harrell on July 4, 1964.

Trained as a Registered Nurse, Rosemary served well in her role with Wayne Memorial Hospital, Cherry Hospital, Home, Health and Hospice, and with her husband at Eastern Carolina Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Though being a nurse was her calling, her heart was focused on loving her family and her Lord. A devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother, she would do anything for her family. Any time with them was a true blessing. Everything she did for them, whether large or small, was done with great love.

Possessing a strong Christian faith, Rosemary lived her faith openly through her service. She offered herself as a member of the Board of Directors with Tim Henderson Ministries where she and her husband worshipped and did all she could to help people find their way to Jesus and accept him as their Lord. With a strong desire to see others join her in her Christian walk, she served many years in the Judgement House Ministry at The First Church in Goldsboro. Utilizing both her nursing background and heart for others, she also assisted with the Haiti Mission work after the devastating earthquake in 2021.

Rosemary had a great love for her pets and treated them like part of the family. She leaves behind her precious cats, Gabriel and Grace, and faithful dog, Talon.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at The First Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, NC. A service to celebrate Rosemary’s life will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the sanctuary with Pastor Tim Henderson officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum chapel of Wayne Memorial Park.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gregory Joseph Lutcavage; children: Amber S. Pierce and husband, Jimmy, Gregory Joseph Lutcavage, II and wife, Jamie, Kristin Noel Minotti and husband, Daniel, Eric Charles Lutcavage, Marc Brendan Lutcavage and wife, Susan, and James Edward Lutcavage; ten grandchildren: Seth, Gavin, Gregory III, Lyra, Isabelle, Patrick, Noel, Harrison, Louise and Charlie; and brothers: J.B.
