Mr. Patrick “Pat” Atkinson Sr., 61, completed his earthly journey on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm with a viewing from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.

He was born on February 22, 1963, in Mt. Olive, NC to David Nelson Atkinson and Thelma Gray Royall Atkinson. He is survived by his wife, Anigh W. Atkinson; his children, and other loving relatives and friends.
