The Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair is seeking contestants for its 2024 Queen of the Fair contest.

The contest is open to high school and college students who are between the ages of 15-21, in a single non-parenting role, and who are residents of Wayne County and surrounding areas.

Entries must include two letters of reference from a non-related adult. Phases of the completion will include casual wear, talent, evening gowns, and on-stage questions.

The fair will only accept 15 entrants and the deadline is Aug. 28, or the receipt of 15 entrants.

Winners of the Queen of the Fair contest are eligible to receive scholarship money from The University of Mount Olive, Wayne Community College, and the Wayne County Livestock Association.
